Swami Ramdev Baba visited BJS WERC



Swami Ramdev Baba visited the farmers' suicide affected children and tribal children who are pursuing their education at Bharatiya Jain Sanghatana's Wagholi Educational Rehabilitation Center (WERC), in Pune on 13th January 2016. He delivered an enthusiastic and motivational speech of 45 minutes where he emphasized the importance of a Healthy Body, Sharp Brain and Continuous Hard work. He personally came down from the stage, went between the children and interacted with them. "I also come from a village and belong to a farmer's family ", he shared. Even I had a Rs. 500 Cr loan but I have not committed suicide, even if your father has committed suicide, such negative thought should not come in your mind, he added. While delivering this message to the children he gave different examples of success stories and their subtle childhood, of today's eminent personalities like Tata and Ambani, creating a new ray of hope in the lives of children.


During his conversation he recited a song for the children "Jameen Salam Kare, Aasman salam kare, Karo wo kaam ki, Saara jahan salam kare" creating a sensation in the hearts of the children. Swami Ramdev Baba expressed his desire and invited all the children to Haridwar and committed bearing all the expenses. 

Shri. Shantilal Muttha inducted the function. The head of BJS Mental Health Department and all the BJS yoga instructors were felicitated by Ramdev Baba. Shri Shantilal Muttha briefed Ramdev Baba about the Wagholi Educational Rehabilitation Project. The expression of joy on the face of the children was explicitly visible throughout the function. The function was concluded by Shri Shantilal Bora thanking Swami Ramdev Baba for giving his valuable time, and guiding and motivating the children.

The Hon'ble Governor of Maharashtra Shri. CH. Vidyasagar Rao visited WERC to meet the children



The Hon'ble Governor of Maharashtra Shri. CH. Vidyasagar Rao visited WERC to meet the children. Governor in his speech said BJS is doing an excellent job for the children. "BJS is standing on its own without taking any help from government and I am very proud of that. I have never come across such a gentleman in my life", said governor referring about Shri Shantilal Muttha, BJS and the works.  Shri. CH. Vidyasagar Rao added BJS should take initiative for their higher education as-well. As he wanted to spend more time with the children, he invited them to Rajbhavan for lunch. On this occasion Shri. Shantilal Muttha said BJS would take responsibly of their higher education too and that talks are being going on for the same with other organizations. Sarpanch of Wagholi Smt. Sanjeevani Waghmare was also present in the function.
